Ģý Expands Full-Tuition Scholarship Programs

Ģý in Indianola is expanding its All-In for Iowa full-tuition scholarship programs to include high-achieving students in the Iowa City Public School District, as well as in the Cedar Rapids Public School District. Students in Indianola and Des Moines Public School systems will also continue to benefit from the academic merit program, known as the High School Promise, which debuted last year for the Fall 2025 entering first-year class.

Students qualifying for any of Ģý’s High School Promise programs will be guaranteed admission simply by uploading their transcript. Qualifying students must be enrolled in their district for the entirety of their senior year and meet the other following requirements:

  • Must own cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher through seventh semester of high school
  • Must be federal aid eligible and submit FAFSA by July 1, 2026
  • Must reside on campus and participate in a Ģý dining plan
  • Must enroll as a new, first-time student (first-year or transfer) for Fall 2026

“We are pleased to expand our All-In for Iowa initiative,” said Dr. Sue Stuebner, interim president of Ģý. “Over the past several years, these programs have created life-changing opportunities for our students. Ensuring access to a Ģý education remains at the heart of our mission. This program benefits our students, our communities, and Ģý.”

Iowa City Community School District Superintendent Matt Degner says Ģý’s full-tuition scholarship program recognizing high-caliber students creates exciting possibilities.

“We are honored that the Iowa City Community School District has been selected as one of only four districts in the state to participate in Ģý’s High School Promise program. This opportunity opens doors for our students to pursue their educational goals while removing financial barriers that often stand in the way. We are grateful to Ģý for investing in our students’ future and for recognizing the incredible talent and potential within our schools.”

In addition to offering full-tuition scholarships for outstanding students from designated school districts, Ģý’s All-In for Iowa programs also include tuition-free opportunities for students statewide. Ģý’s $100K Promise provides full-tuition scholarships for admitted students with an adjusted gross family income of $100,000 or less.

Additionally, at least one student from every county in the state is eligible for the 99 County full-tuition scholarship — based on a combination of need and merit considerations. Students must be admitted and have their FAFSA filed by Nov. 1 to qualify for the 99 County program.
